Skyve Replica
Skyve Replica enables synchronisation between Skyve instances. This can be useful when you do not have a permanent internet connection or require an offline copy to be made.
Replication management
Skyve Replica provides a master instance which all the other instances synchronise with. The master can show all the other instances and how current they are.
Offline replica
Having the ability to have multiple instances which synchronise with the master instance provides the ability to make offline copies. This allows users to have access to all the data and content which is on the master while disconnected from the internet, while retaining the ability to make changes.
Synchronisation
Synchronisation provides the brains to enable communication between replicas to function reliably. It automatically handles conflicts where two users update the same data so that remote users can operate on a full offline copy without worrying about which parts of the system they are able to modify safely.
