Transforming Forms with AI
Skyve Forms is a paid module which is built in Skyve and can be added to an existing Skyve application. This week, we explored the integration of AI within Skyve Forms to expedite the process of digitising existing paper or PDF forms by starting with a screenshot.
The below demonstrates the digitising of a hospital admission form PDF into a user-friendly online form using a computer vision API.
The AI integration can be completely disabled, but if enabled and provided with an API key, this can be used as a quick way to convert existing forms into an electronic record, which can then be manipulated and used within an existing Skyve application and all of its open-source features.
