Foundry 2.2 released

Skyve Foundry has been upgraded to version 2.2. This release brings Skyve projects up to version 5.0.1, and adds some improvements around quick-adding attributes and fixed an issue with adding child collections.

Notes for Upgrading

All non-collaboration projects have been upgraded automatically to the latest Skyve platform version. If you have a collaboration project, you will need to manually update it in Git before you will be able to deploy your project again.

Steps to upgrade your collaboration project

  • Ensure everything is committed and in sync in Foundry and in your Git repository

  • Check the Skyve blog and follow the upgrade instructions for all versions between your current version and the latest version

  • Update your pom Skyve version and Skyve plugin version to the latest

  • Perform a maven assemble

  • Review the changes, ensure none of your customisations are overwritten

  • Deploy locally and check everything still works

  • Commit and push the changes

  • From Foundry, go to your project, click Advanced Mode, and click Upgrade from the Describe tab

  • Click Save

  • Go to the Collaborate tab and click Pull

  • Your project is now running the latest Skyve version and Deployment should be enabled
